DIGIMIC stands for "digitally
controlled microphone
management system". With DIGIMIC the digital age of conference technology
began. Concerning the technical feature set of DIGIMIC the market defined
the DIGIMIC class. DIGIMIC is today used throughout the world and in some
regions is a synonym for discussion systems. DIGIMIC sets the yardsticks for
transmission quality, reliability, compatibility and last but not least for
value.
Red light-ring and flexible goosenecks:
Our idea: The red point. Active microphones should be
recognisable from a distance and from all angles without using bin-oculars.
Our introduction of gooseneck microphones with ring luminants was confirmed
as pioneering by imitation of varying quality.
Flexibility through microphone operating modes:
DIGIMIC provides a selection of different proven
microphone operation modes. Thus the operation of the microphones can be
adapted to the requirements of the meeting.
Improved response: Each microphone has its own key
Particularly fast microphones can be switched by
keyboard, where each microphone is assigned an individual key. Requests for
the floor are indicated with flashing light spots in those keys.
Name and speaking time administration
Operating status and microphone operation modes are
displayed on monitors and a name can be assigned to each microphone.
Requests are displayed in sequence on-screen to display a
waiting list and "clicking" a name will activate the microphone.
Each name also has its own speaking time "account" and
current spaeking time status can be displayed e.g. on monitors and with
speaking time "traffic lights" (green-yellow-red). This data can be either
printed or transferred to file for use as speaker minutes.
Guaranteed compatibility
Long life expectancy...
Professional conference systems have a particularly long
life expectancy. Because conference systems need to be expandable and
flexible enough to add new functions and available to the rental market,
longterm compatibility of the system components is a must for BRÄHLER ICS.
...and nevertheless compatible
It is, therefore, a constant challenge for our developers
to, on the one hand, produce state of the art systems but, on the other,
ensure that compatibility with exsisting equipment is retained.
